1. Give us the 30-second elevator pitch about what you do at Wahi.

I’m a mobile developer for Wahi’s app. As a software engineer, I want to create the finest mobile app experience available in the real estate market. I try to captivate users through seamless functionality and attractive design. Ultimately, I’m working towards positioning Wahi as the premier app in real estate.

2. How and why did you get into your industry?

After completing my bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, my passion for software development and IT led me to pursue two master’s degrees in those fields. I found immense satisfaction in these disciplines, and it’s where I want to build my career.

3. What do you love most about your job?

I love programming and app development. I find a lot of joy and fulfillment in the creative process of building software. The ability to bring ideas to life through code, and to see tangible results in the form of functional and user-friendly applications, is what gets me excited about my work.

4. What does your typical day look like?

My day includes many hours of coding and collaborating with colleagues. Together, we brainstorm and debate about how to leverage the best and most efficient algorithms to satisfy the requirements and our job tasks.

5. What podcast are you currently listening to?

Currently, I’m engrossed in Atomic Habits by James Clear. It’s a fascinating read that provides actionable insights into building and maintaining effective habits. I find the learning invaluable for both my personal growth and my professional development as a mobile developer.

6. Do you have any advice for people who want to be a mobile developers?

I recommend mastering the art of software engineering principles and UX design. Understanding the fundamentals of software engineering ensures a strong foundation in building robust and efficient applications. Additionally, honing skills in UX design allows you to create intuitive and user-friendly experiences, which are crucial for engaging and retaining users.
