Chaplin Estates is one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods in midtown Toronto for a reason. This residential neighbourhood runs from Eglinton Avenue West in the north to Chaplin Crescent in the south, and then from Yonge Street in the east to Avenue Road in the west. Therefore, it encompasses both the Yonge and Eglinton and Yonge and Davisville intersections, two of midtown’s central hubs. Since its creation in the early twentieth century, it has been one of the city’s most exclusive neighbourhoods and it continues to be one today. Chaplin Estate is largely made up of detached, single-family homes, many of which feature Tudor, Georgian, and English Cottage-style architecture. Meanwhile, due to its prime location in midtown, residents can enjoy easy access to the Eglinton Way shopping district, the Beltline, which is a nine-kilometre path for walkers, joggers, and cyclists, as well as several renowned elementary and high schools, including Upper Canada College. Green space surrounds Chaplin Estates, with Mt. Pleasant Cemetary, Forest Hill Road Park, June Rowlands Park, Eglinton Park, and Oriole Park all situated nearby. When it comes to transportation, Chaplin Estates is ideally situated. Eglinton Avenue can get you to the Don Valley Parkway or Allen Expressway in no time. Meanwhile, there are several bus stops in the neighbourhood, as well as two subway stations, Eglinton and Davisville, both of which are on Line 1 of the subway. If access to the buzziest part of midtown Toronto, quiet streets with historic homes, and plenty of green space appeal to you, consider Chaplin Estates for your next home.
