The number of homes on the market continues to climb in major Canadian cities giving some buyers a shot at a discount.

Timothée Chalamet’s Beverly Hills abode has an impressive array of features and a redone interior.

Hollywood’s brightest stole the spotlight over the weekend as the 97th Academy Awards recognized the best in film, but since we’re a real estate blog, we’ll save the red-carpet recaps for the Hollywood Reporter and the like. Instead, we’ll focus on the real stars. And by that, we mean the A-lister’s homes, of course. Here are five stunning homes owned by this year’s Academy Award nominees.

1. Ariana Grande’s Former English Manor

It’s hard to keep up with pop powerhouse Ariana Grande’s real estate moves. She buys homes as fast as she churns out hits. Since the pandemic, Grande — who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the revamped Wicked — has purchased at least three homes. Details on her current home, reported to be mid-century mansion previously owned by Cameron Diaz, are scant. However, her earlier move in 2020 to Montecito, Calif., was highly publicized, which is good news for real estate fanatics since it’s a sight to behold. The materials for the Tudor-style estate were actually sourced from a pair of historic barns, in Surry, England, and shipped overseas. Grande parted with the dwelling in 2022 for a cool $9.1 million.

2. Timothée Chalamet’s Beverly Hills Abode

At least Timothée Chalamet, who lost out to Adrian Brody for Best Actor, can console himself with his real estate holdings. In 2022, he snapped up a  5,500-plus-square-foot New England coastal-style house in Beverly Hills for $11 million. The bright-and-traditional home, formerly owned by supermodel Kate Upton and San Francisco Giants pitcher Justin Verlander, sits on 1.5 acres overlooking Hollywood and boasts a tennis court and separate guest house. Not long before Chalamet picked up the property, it reportedly underwent interior renovations. Take a fan-led tour of the home:

3. Zoe Saldaña’s “Casa De Buena Vista”

Presumably, Zoe Saldaña has taken her first Oscar — which she won on Sunday evening for her performance in Emilia Pérez — home to her new digs in Montecito. The dwelling, known as Casa De Buena Vista, is considered an architectural gem. It spans nearly 10,000 square feet and has been immaculately preserved. Set on close to five acres in Montecito’s Golden Quadrangle neighborhood, the property includes a tennis court, pool with resort-style cabanas, an additional two-bedroom apartment, guest cottage, and even an art studio, Realtor.com reports. Last year, she sold her Beverly Hills mansion at a $5 million loss. Maybe she should’ve hung onto it for a few more months — it would’ve spared her a two-hour commute.

4. Demi Moore’s Garden Oasis

Demi Moore’s 10 acres of bucolic tranquility in Aspen Lakes, Idaho, looks like the perfect place to retreat after losing the Oscar for Best Actress to Mikey Madison. The wooded countryside estate, which Moore has owned for decades, is more glamping than Hollywood glitz and is far away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi (case in point, few photos of the home itself appear to exist). “We call it the Redneck Riviera,” said Moore, as quoted in a 2023 interview with the Financial Times. “You can also kayak, river‑raft, fly-fish…. Nature is everywhere. I might see a herd of elk in my backyard,” she continued. Occasionally, Moore shares glimpses of her wooded wonderland on social media:

5. Edward Norton’s Midcentury-Modern Masterpiece

Edward Norton didn’t land an Oscar this year, but, in 2017, he landed a spectacular mid-century modernist home in a gated Malibu community. The beachfront home’s sweeping design is said to have been inspired by the waves that lap up against the property’s 37 feet of shoreline. Dating back to 1968, the approximately 3,400-square-foot home blends seamlessly with nature, featuring lots of wood and retractable glass walls to take in ocean breezes.
