News Release The Fastest and Slowest GTA Neighbourhoods Right Now TORONTO, ONT. — August 19, 2026 — New July data from digital real estate platform Wahi shows wide variation in how quickly homes are selling across the Greater Toronto Area. Alderwood in Etobicoke was the GTA’s fastest-selling neighbourhood, with homes spending an average of just 10 days on the market. Other fast-moving communities included neighbourhoods in Burlington, Ajax, Toronto, Milton, Markham and Whitby, with the top 10 all averaging 17 days or less. At the other end of the spectrum, homes in the slowest-selling neighbourhoods spent between 62 and 77 days on the market. Homes in Chaplin Estates in Toronto took the longest to sell at 77 days, followed by Tansley Woods in Burlington at 71 days and Bronte Lakeshore in Oakville at 65 days.
