News Release The Fastest and Slowest GTA Neighbourhoods Right Now TORONTO, ONT. — July 23, 2026 — New June data from digital real estate platform Wahi reveals sharp contrasts in how quickly homes are selling across the Greater Toronto Area. Homes in a mix of urban and suburban neighbourhoods — from Etobicoke and Toronto to Richmond Hill and Pickering — sold quickly, with average days on market ranging from just six to 10 days. At the other end of the spectrum, homes in the slowest-selling communities in York, Toronto and Brampton remained on the market for 59 to 126 days. The findings point to the impact of affordability, commuting trade-offs, property mix and continued softness in parts of the condo market. The full report, including downloadable charts, is available here. Wahi economist Ryan McLaughlin is available to discuss where demand is strongest, where buyers have the most negotiating power, and how neighbourhood characteristics are shaping local market activity.
