Meet Theresa Mitchell, a Wahi Partner Realtor with 10 years of experience serving first-time homebuyers in Kingston, Ont.

What do you love most about your job?

I love educating people about the homebuying process and introducing them to excellent allied professionals — home inspectors, mortgage specialists, lawyers, and contractors. I’ve built a good team to provide clients with an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Tell us about your experience getting matched with a client through Wahi.

Wahi introduced me to a homebuyer who wanted to purchase a home in a location from which he could commute to the Canadian Force Base (CFB) Kingston. Knowing what he was looking for [ahead of time] and being able to streamline [the process] was key to a successful purchase.

How did you find the process of getting connected with the homebuyer? 

The Wahi team vets clients and matches them to my area of expertise, which I appreciate. I’m always available for a call from Wahi because I know it will result in a sale for me!
 

Did the process save you time? Money?

Working with Wahi saved me both time and money. They bring buyers and sellers who are ready to move forward to me, which saves me a huge amount of time and energy that may or may not have resulted in a commission cheque.
