Markham Couple Finds a Condo They Love and Gets Cashback on their Purchase

When homebuyers take advantage of Wahi’s Cashback Program, they receive up to 1% of their home’s purchase price.

 When MaryAnn and Tony wanted to downsize in 2017 from a house to a condo, they decided to try renting first to see if the condo lifestyle was for them.

“We thought it would be a good idea to lease first to see if condo living would be a fit for us,” says MaryAnn. A year after moving into their rented home, however, the landlord put the condo on the market. Over the next several years they continued to rent, moving four times between condos. MaryAnn and Tony took advantage of Wahi’s Cashback Program, which allows homebuyers to get up to 1% cash back on their home purchase after closing to use towards renovations, furniture, or even a vacation. When homebuyers choose to work with Wahi they are matched with a Wahi in-house Realtor and after they buy a home, Wahi passes some of the commission they earn to the customer, which amounts to up to 1% of the purchase price.
