FAQs

How does Wahi MyBuy work?

When you choose Wahi MyBuy, virtual service means cash back in your pocket. Your Wahi MyBuy REALTOR® will provide remote service, which means you will get up to 1.0% of the sale price back in cash after close – that’s 1.0% of the total property price. For an average GTA property of $1M, that means $10K back in your pocket. Available in select locations – see where Wahi services are available.

The buyer doesn’t pay commission, so where does the cashback come from?

When a home is purchased, the commission is typically paid by the seller on both sides of the deal. The buyer’s brokerage receives their share of the commission from the listing brokerage after the transaction is completed. For example, if we received 2.5% of the sale price in commission, Wahi would give 1.0% back to the buyer in cashback after we are paid.

What do I get with a traditional REALTOR® that I don’t get with Wahi MyBuy?

A REALTOR® has expert, local knowledge on your property search area and will personally take you to all your home showings.

Wahi MyBuy agents are salaried, licensed experts who offer remote service. To help you tour the property, a Tour Assistant will meet you at the property. MyBuy’s digital service model allows us to pass back savings to you in cashback after close.
