Coolest gig

Teaching English in Japan. It was the mid-90s and it was Kristin’s first job out of university. She went by herself and didn’t speak a word of Japanese. Kristin fell in love with the culture and ended up staying an extra year.

What Kristin loves about her job

Kristin loves the fantastic team she works with. She’s always learning from them and drawing from their energy. She also loves that Wahi is helping homebuyers and sellers navigate the often confusing and stressful world of real estate. Buying a home is likely the biggest purchase a person will ever make, and Kristin wants them to feel they’re in control of the homebuying experience.

If Kristin didn’t have this job

She would be a stand-up comic.

When she’s not working

You’ll find her cycling with her spouse, eating at trendy restaurants, traveling to — and learning about — different parts of the world, or driving one of her kids to hockey.
