The GTA’s Priciest and Most Affordable Neighbourhoods Right Now

The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) real estate market runs the gamut, from multimillion-dollar estates in Oakville and Toronto’s priciest pockets to budget-friendlier condos in Mississauga, Brampton, and North York.

TORONTO, ONT. —September 10, 2025 — To show just how wide the price gap is in the GTA’s real estate market, Wahi analyzed August 2025 sales data and uncovered the region’s five most and least expensive neighbourhoods.

Forest Hill ranked among the priciest spots with a median sale price of $3.37 million, but buyers still managed to buy below asking at a median underbid amount of $158K. At the other end of the spectrum, Yorkdale-Glen Park condos came in as one of the GTA’s most affordable buys at $472,500, offering rare value within Toronto proper. Meanwhile, Eastlake in Oakville topped the overall list at nearly $3.9 million, with a median underbid amount of $206K.
