News Release The Most and Least Expensive Neighbourhoods in the GTA – TORONTO, ONT. —November 25, 2025 — New data from digital real estate platform Wahi reveals the most and least affordable neighbourhoods to buy a home in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). In October 2025, York Mills in North York topped the charts as the most expensive neighbourhood with a median sold price of just over $3.5 million, while the condo-dense neighbourhood of Queen Street Corridor in Brampton ranked as the most affordable, with prices under $500,000. The analysis highlights striking contrasts between Toronto’s pricier communities, such as York Mills and The Annex, and more accessible pockets in Brampton, Mississauga, and parts of Toronto, where condos and townhouses continue to draw first-time buyers. The report offers a detailed snapshot of the GTA’s five most expensive and most affordable neighbourhoods, reflecting how location, housing type, and lifestyle amenities shape affordability and buyer demand across the region. Wahi economist Ryan McLaughlin is available to comment on what these findings reveal about evolving buyer behaviour and housing trends this fall. The full report, with downloadable charts, is available here.
