1. CARGO CABBIE 

CARGO CABBIE is known for its strong reputation as a reliable mover within Toronto and the surrounding area. The company has won several “Best of HomeStars” awards between 2012 to 2025, and has also received recognition from Houzz consecutively from 2016 to 2024. CARGO CABBIE has a 5 out of 5 rating on HomeStars customer reviews, receiving high praise for their polite staff and professional moves. Clients often mention “stress-free” and “professional service,” reflecting a high standard of organization and communication.

CARGO CABBIE is not currently accredited by the Better Business Bureau, according to BBB records from June 2025. Their site lists a longstanding presence but does not publish years in business on BBB. They offer full household and office moves, as well as packing services. Miracle Movers provides local and long-distance moving services within a radius of up to 90 kilometres from its Markham warehouse. Recent sources show pricing at $135 per hour for two movers and a truck and $199 per hour for three movers and a truck. No unresolved complaints are displayed on their BBB profile. The company handles full or partial packing.

4. Velocity Movers 

Velocity Movers holds an accredited “A+” rating on the Better Business Bureau as of 2025. Their services include household, office, white-glove, and piano moves, as well as specialized commercial transportation.

Velocity Movers does not publish average move costs for Toronto or the GTA specifically. Unique features include careful piano moving and specialized office-relocation resources. Customer service ratings are positive on HomeStars, emphasizing flexibility and communication; however, not many Toronto customers have reviewed their services compared to other moving companies.

5. M and M Moving Systems

Most reviews point to reliability and honest communication from the company. There are no notable unresolved customer complaints on BBB files. Storage options include short and longer-term contracts. The company holds a positive reputation for employee retention and reasonable cancellation policies.

Angel Movers does not list prices per hour publicly, but industry sources suggest rates are similar to other top providers on this list. Their coverage includes the GTA and surrounding areas.

8. Rent A Son 

Rent A Son is BBB-accredited and holds an “A+” rating as of 2025. The company highlights ethical business practices, including full insurance and compliance with workplace safety insurance and tax laws. It provides full-service local and long-distance moving, as well as packing, supplies, and both short- and long-term storage. The service also extends to pianos and special-item moving.
