Although Pitt Meadows is not serviced by Vancouver’s TransLink public transportation system, the West Coast Express train service connects Pitt Meadows with Vancouver (in fact, it takes only 40 minutes to reach downtown Vancouver from Pitt Meadows by train). That said, this Fraser Valley city has everything that residents could possibly need in their day to day lives, from supermarkets and big box stores to breweries, cafes, restaurants, theatres, and shopping (Osprey Village is a popular destination, known for its boutique shops). As a bonus, the area’s surrounding farms are an excellent place to shop for seasonal produce and fresh dairy and meat. Pitt Meadows is served by British Columbia School District No. 42, which services both Pitt Meadows and the neighbouring community of Maple Ridge.
