RPS-Wahi House Price Index Shows Canadian Home Prices Stabilize in June, But 3 Major Markets Still Lag<\/h2>\n

TORONTO<\/a>, ONT. \u2014July 16, 2025 \u2014 Wahi, a leading Canadian real estate platform, and Real Property Solutions (RPS), Canada\u2019s foremost provider of property valuation services, today released their monthly home price index<\/a> for June 2025.
<\/span><\/p>\n


Following three straight months of slowing growth, the RPS-Wahi House Price index \u2014 Canada\u2019s most comprehensive and timely measure of home prices \u2014 held steady in June, rising 1% year-over-year, matching May\u2019s pace, which had marked the smallest gain since August 2023. While modest, this growth may indicate the first signs of stabilization in Canada\u2019s housing market.<\/span><\/p>\n


Despite signs of stabilization, three of Canada\u2019s largest urban markets \u2014 Toronto, Vancouver, and Hamilton<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 continue to underperform the national trend in home prices. While Toronto and Vancouver<\/a> have been two of the hardest-hit markets in Canada in terms of home price declines, real estate boards in the two cities reported improved home sales in June.<\/span><\/p>\n
